This is a revised and re-normed version of the original South Australian Spelling Test, along with a completely new, normed Form B to be used as an alternative or parallel to Form A of the South Australian Spelling Test. Teachers read a list of 70 words to students, who record a written response. The test is included in a resource which provides an overview of effective methods for helping students develop their spelling skills. The SAST has two separate forms (i.e., Form A and Form B), though only Form A was used in the current research.
